Shipping

Do you ship outside of the US and Canada?

Yes, we ship internationally! *Exceptions apply.

Please note some countries have suspended their courier services due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to placing your order, please confirm with your local courier service that international packages will be accepted and cleared by your Customs Department. Unfortunately, if an order has shipped to a country with suspended service, the order will be returned back to us.

*We are unable to ship orders to Russia, Belarus, Greece and India due to current restrictions.

How much is shipping?

US and Canada - Free standard shipping on orders over $60 USD (before tax), or $5 USD for standard shipping.

International (excluding Australia) - Free standard shipping on orders over $250 USD (before tax), or $36 USD for standard shipping.

Australia - Free standard shipping on orders over $250 USD (before tax), or $45 USD for standard shipping.

Please be mindful that you may experience unusually long shipping delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and standard shipping times may not apply. The standard shipping times do not include weekends, holidays and any unforeseen delays that may arise with the courier service.

How long does it take for my delivery to arrive?

Canada

Standard: 5-11 business days

US

Standard: 2-5 business days

International

Standard: 3-5 business days

Please be mindful that you may experience unusually long shipping delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and standard shipping times may not apply. The standard shipping times do not include weekends, holidays and any unforeseen delays that may arise with the courier service.

Place orders by December 13th, 2021 to receive in time for the holidays.

Will I be charged duties or import fees?

Please note items shipped outside of the United States or Canada may be subject to import duties, taxes and/or charges, which are not included in the total cost of your order or included in the cost of shipping. These fees are not covered or reimbursed through VERIE.

Any additional charges for customs clearance is the responsibility of the recipient specified on the delivery address. If a customer refuses the import duties, taxes and/or charges on their package, VERIE is not liable for the package and it will be disposed of by the courier service. Please note refunds will not be provided for any refused shipment.

We recommend checking with your country’s customs office to determine if any additional fees apply. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond the original delivery estimates.

Is your packaging sustainable?

We are committed to minimizing our carbon footprint and increasing our sustainability. This is why all of the packing peanuts found in our packages are biodegradable and not made of styrofoam, and the remaining cardboard packaging can be recycled!

As a further demonstration of our commitment to sustainability, we will be transitioning from jewelry boxes to compostable poly mailers in the future.

What courier service do you use?

Orders shipped within Canada are shipped with Canada Post Expedited Parcel or UPS Express. Orders shipped within the US are shipped with UPS Standard or UPS Express.

International orders are shipped with DHL Express and UPS Express.

Returns

What is your return policy?

Quality is something we guarantee.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to offer a refund, store credit, or exchange (depending on item availability) for returned items. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery.

Returned products must have their original tags attached (if applicable), have no signs of wear, and original product packaging must be intact.

Returns for a refund will be subject to a $7 handling fee which will be deducted from your refund total. This fee does not apply to returns for exchange or store credit.

The following items are not eligible for return and are final sale: all sale items, charms, all sample items (as indicated on product pages) and non-refundable items such as gift cards and E-Books. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Please refer to the 'Are all items refundable?' section below for a complete list of eligible/non-eligible return items.

If you receive a product from us that is damaged or defective, please email hello@shopverie.com and include a photo for reference.

How do I start the return process?

US & Canada Returns:

For US & Canada orders, please click here to submit a return.

Follow the steps at the portal to request your return. Once your return has been created, you will receive a prepaid return shipping label. Using the provided label, you may drop off your package at any depot of the specified courier service.

International Returns:

For any international return request, please email hello@shopverie.com with your order number and the product(s) you would like to return. From there, our Customer Service Team will provide return instructions. Please note: return shipping costs and any reverse duties are the responsibility of the customer. Orders outside of the US or Canada may have duties and taxes incurred. You are responsible for paying these fees and we are unable to waive or refund them, even if the order is returned back to us.

Are returns free?

US & Canada Returns:

Prepaid return labels will be provided by Verie, and returns for a refund will be subject to a $7 handling fee, which will be deducted from your refund total. This fee does not apply to returns for exchange or store credit.

International Returns:

At this time Verie does not provide prepaid return shipping labels for international orders. We will be looking into providing this in the future. For international return instructions, please email hello@shopverie.com.

What is your exchange policy?

We offer exchanges for items that have various sizes and colors available to purchase of the same value. Should a requested exchanged item not be in stock, you will be notified and a store credit will be issued accordingly. All exchanges will be shipped once the return shipment is in-transit.

We do not offer exchanges for different items at this time.


Are all items refundable?

The following items are non-refundable and are final sale:

All sale items

All charms

All sample items (as indicated on product pages)

• Gift cards

• Downloadable software products (E-Books)

When will I receive my refund?

Once a return has reached our facility, our team requires approximately 7-10 business days to process and inspect the return. Once it has passed inspection, your refund will be processed within 48 hours. All refunds will be applied to the original payment, excluding original shipping fees.

If you have not received a refund yet, please contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take 5-10 business days before your refund is processed. If you have done the above and still have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@shopverie.com.

Orders

Where is my order?

Orders are typically processed from our warehouse in one day. During a high volume of orders, processing can take approximately 4-7 business days.

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can keep an eye on your purchase.

Please note this does not apply to any preorders.

How do preorders work?

Preorders are orders for items that are not in stock currently but that are expected to be available for purchase at a later date. The estimated arrival date for the item will be displayed on the product page at the time of purchase. If you purchase a preorder item, the item will be reserved for you and mailed out to you as soon as the shipment reaches our warehouse.

All preorders are billed at the time of purchase. We will send you an email when the item arrives as well as when the item ships out along with the necessary tracking information.

Should an order contain a combination of preorder and in stock items, your in stock items will be shipped separately.

If for any reason we are unable to fulfil your preordered items beyond the quoted timeframe, you will be refunded the full amount for the piece(s) or provided with a store credit.

Customers have up to 48 hours from the time of purchase to cancel any order that includes preorder items.

Orders with preordered items cannot be edited.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders with in-stock items:

Our teams work diligently to ensure your orders get shipped out as quickly as possible, and we cannot guarantee that a cancelation request can be accommodated. Customers will be required to follow our standard Refund Policy procedure.

Orders with delayed shipping items AND/OR preorders:

You have up to 48 hours from the time of purchase to cancel any order that includes a product that has a delayed shipping date or includes a preordered item. Please note that shipping dates may vary and will always be listed on the product page at the time of purchase. Any cancelation request received after 48 hours from time of purchase will unfortunately not be honoured and customers will be required to follow our standard Refund Policy procedure.

Can I edit my order?

Orders with in-stock items:

Customers who need an edit to an order with in-stock items (i.e. removing/adding items, updating shipping address/email), are encouraged to reach out immediately after their order has been placed. We will do our best to accommodate this request, however we cannot provide any guarantees as our teams work diligently to ensure your orders get shipped out as quickly as possible.

Preorders:

We are unable to edit any order that contains preordered items.

Orders with delayed shipping items:

You have up to 48 hours from the time of purchase to edit any order that includes a product that has a delayed shipping date or includes a preordered item. Please note that shipping dates may vary and will always be listed on the product page at the time of purchase.

Please note we are unable to combine orders to ship together at this time.

Do your products come with a warranty?

Jewelry

We offer a 1 year limited warranty for most regular price jewelry for any product related issue (exclusion list provided below). Please note this warranty is effective from the date of purchase of your order, and does not apply to any regular wear and tear that you may experience with a product (i.e. scratches, bent ring, broken chain, tarnished posts), misuse/improper use, lost or stolen items, improper storage of your product, and any modification to your product done by a third party outside of Verie. If a product has been previously repaired and/or altered by a third party it is not eligible under our warranty. Should you encountered an issue with your Verie jewelry, please email hello@shopverie.com along with your Order #, and photo(s) of the issue. From there, our customer service team will advise if the issue is applicable to our warranty and best next steps.

Items excluded from warranty are all sale items and charms. These items are treated as final sale.

Sunglasses & Clothing

We currently do not have a warranty for our Sunglasses or Clothing products in place, but we do hope to offer a warranty program in the future.

Jewelry

What materials do you use?

All of our jewelry is locally supplied in Toronto, and created with high quality sourced materials. Our pieces are made from a variety of gold material including: 14k & 10k solid gold, and 10k gold vermeil over a 925 sterling silver base. Solid gold will not tarnish or oxidize.

Our pieces will continue to be offered in these gold varieties to remain at a competitive price point.

Please note, our prices may be subject to change without notice due to fluctuations in the market price of gold. All prices shown at the time of purchase will be honoured and not impacted by any future price changes.

How do I take care of my jewelry?

Every piece of jewelry is created using the finest materials for everyday wear that requires gentle care.

10k & 14k solid gold:

All solid gold jewelry will not tarnish and can even be worn in the shower or at the gym! Keep your jewelry clean by using a non-abrasive jewelry cleaner with a soft cloth. When not wearing, store your jewelry in a safe, dry place.

Gold vermeil:

We offer products made of 10k gold vermeil on a 925 sterling silver base. Please make sure to remove all gold vermeil jewelry prior to showering, working out or applying lotions. To clean, gently buff the piece using a dry soft cloth. When not wearing, store all vermeil jewelry in a safe, dry place.

How do I know my ring size?

Are your diamonds conflict free?

Yes. Our high-quality diamonds are sourced from conflict-free suppliers that follow socially responsible practices and adhere to all fair trade regulations.

Do any pieces contain nickel?

Absolutely not. All of our pieces are made from either solid 10k and 14k gold, or 10k gold vermeil on a 925 sterling silver base, and are all nickel free.

Are your earrings sold as singles or in pairs?

All of our earrings are sold as singles unless otherwise specified under ‘Details’ on the individual product page.

Clothing

What kind of materials do you use?

We use a variety of consciously sourced materials including 100% organic cotton, 100% organic linen, as well as post-consumer recycled materials including jacquard. Our Active and Ready To Wear Collections are ethically made in Portugal at a solar powered factory.

How do I care for my Verie clothing?

Active Wear

To prolong the life of your Verie pieces, machine wash cold with like colors. For drying, lay flat to dry or tumble dry low heat on delicate cycle. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.

Linen Styles

Machine wash cold on delicate cycle, lay flat to dry. Low heat iron.

Dresses

Hand wash and hang to dry, or dry clean.

Payments

What methods of payment do you offer?

In addition to our regular checkout, we offer express checkouts with Shop Pay, Google Pay or PayPal, and installment payments through Sezzle.

What currency do you use?

Customers may checkout in any currency selected from our drop down menu while shopping, unless payment is made through PayPal, Google Pay or Sezzle. In this case, the payment will be automatically processed in USD.

What is Sezzle?

Sezzle is a buy now, pay later option that allows you to split your entire order into 4 interest-free payments over 6 weeks. After clicking “Complete order”, you will be redirected to Sezzle to complete your purchase securely.

Please note Sezzle is only displayed as an option if you complete the full checkout process, not through express checkout with Shop Pay, Google Pay or PayPal.

Sezzle is currently only available to US & Canadian customers, and transactions will be processed in USD.

What is Google Pay?

Google Pay is a fast and simple way to pay using the credit cards saved to your Google account.


Please note that Google Pay may reflect the currency chosen by the customer when shopping, however upon purchase the payment will be converted to and processed in USD.

How does Shop Pay Work?

Shop Pay is an accelerated checkout that lets customers save their email address, credit card, and shipping and billing information so they can complete their transaction faster the next time they are directed to the checkout.

Please note that payments made through Shop Pay will be processed in the currency selected by the customer when shopping.

What currency does PayPal use?

All payments processed through PayPal will be automatically processed in USD, as indicated in the top right corner of the PayPal checkout page.
