Depending on where you're living these days, I think we can all agree we're seeing more of each other's faces now than we have in the past two years. Again, a 2-for-1 is the way to go. Our advice is to invest in a multi-stick (there are several great ones on the market, the above pictured being one of Valeria's favourites). Find the color that works for your skin tone and you can wear for multiple occasions - so a lighter blush pink for example, so you can lightly dab it on for everyday use, or put on an extra layer for an evening out.

This one is a long-standing favorite. The ol' reliable, if you will. Everyone needs a nude lipstick. The choice shade for when you're feeling, shall we say, chic but not like a blood-red "I'm coming for you" chic. It's an everyday essential you can rely on.

5. Dior, Rouge Dior
Everyone needs that red lip. As you can see on Valeria pictured below, the power to create that really full lip is in your hands with this one. Drawing shape, filling in, or just adding that intense color - whatever your aim, another lipstick everyone needs is that deep red. For when you need to strike that power pose, we choose Dior because there are multiple deeper red shades and having that selection is important.

6. Summer Fridays, Lip Butter Balm,

Even though winter is almost over (thank God), we can't forget to hydrate our lips - especially if we're wearing more product on them these days. Always have a lip balm on hand, and we suggest getting one with a bit of a tint so you can hydrate while incorporating some color. This one from Summer Fridays has a nice plumping effect, and I personally use it as an overnight lip mask when my lips are feeling really dry.

7. Chanel, Coco Flash,

What's your night out go-to? For us, it's this shade from Chanel. It's enough to fill out your lips and it has this really subtle, natural, beautiful color. The best part is you don't need to pile this on; it's intense in one swipe and has a shiny look from its thin coating and glossy oil - which reflects light to really maximize that look.
